IT Specialist, Helpdesk

Articulate is looking for a IT/Helpdesk specialist who will work on Articulate’s Helpdesk team to provide support to our fully remote staff and manage our cloud systems. This role will manage small projects and look for ways to improve the way we do things on the help desk.

What you will do:

  • Troubleshoot laptop and desktop computer hardware issues
  • Provide responsive assistance with various technical issues        
  • Troubleshoot network issues    
  • Manage, audit access to, and purchase licenses for a variety of software tools    
  • Administer G Suite    
  • Document process and data flows    
  • Communicate clearly with employees   
  • Support security policies and procedures to protect the company’s network, systems, and data    
  • Analyze department needs, identify vulnerabilities, boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
  • Provide help with Salesforce and answer employees’ questions 
  • Assist with SOC 2 compliance questions from the business

Attributes you need to be successful in this role:

  • Hardware and software troubleshooting experience
  • Experience providing technical support in a distributed environment
  • Passion and skills for helping people and solving problems
  • Curiosity for how things work and initiative to dig in    
  • Experience documenting procedures and creating process maps            
  • 2 years experience providing computer support    
  • 1 year of experience in networking

You're the ideal candidate if:

  • Familiar with G Suite for Business applications and administration
  • Understanding of writing light code/software workflow
