About the Role:

The Salesforce Solution Architect will help rebuild and recommend best practices for the system architecture of Abstract’s Salesforce.com functionality. The ideal candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and promoting adoption of CRM platforms. This role will identify, develop, and deploy new business processes. The Salesforce Solution Architect will be responsible for executing on the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance, and improvement of our CRM platform. Additionally, this position will work with the Manager, Sales Operations to support the sales team across various activities focused on processes, implementation, automation tools, and performance insights.  

What you'll do:

  • System architect for Abstract’s Salesforce.com environment, including optimizing sales efficiency by refining processes & making systematic enhancements   
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex solutions using custom objects, workflow rules, validation rules, processes, flows, etc. in Salesforce and related applications
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
  • Support the implementation project phases through build, UAT, deployment and go live
  • Provide end user support including complex requests such as altering the application to support changing business requirements   
  • Identify and implement methods to improve efficiency in data integrity, data retrieval, and use  

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on Business, MIS, Analytics or related field  
  • 5+ years of sales operations experience in a successful SaaS-based business desired
  • 2+ years Salesforce Service Cloud experience, and Salesforce platform customizations and configurations experience
  • Experience of Salesforce.com solution design and integrations frameworks
  • Subject matter expertise in the evaluation, design, planning and deployment of emerging solutions to drive exceptional experiences and increased productivity and growth
  • Knowledge of third-party integration tools and ETL with Salesforce (i.e. Outreach, LeanData, Marketo, UsherConnect, CPQ systems)
  • Experience with Contract Management Tools (Lexion or Equivalent)
  • Release/change management, using multiple sandboxes and change sets
  • High attention to detail & accuracy despite deadline pressures  
  • Excellent organizational & prioritization skills & ability to work on many tasks concurrently  
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills - written, verbal, presentation 
  • Work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment  
  • Excel in a collaborative environment & be a bridge between cross-functional teams
